When I was just a kid, I loved playing in the bathtub, using the good old Sunlight soap. I made fake beards with the bubbles, and then ‘shaved’ my face. Crazy little girl I was🙂
Nowadays, the beautyworld is offering me way more alternatives to clean my face (and body). Almost too many. It’s getting hard to choose, because everyone is promising thé best results.
So I tested for you as many different cleansing products as humanly possible in 4 weeks time..
A personal report…
Honestly, I’m not a big fan. By being too agressive, this face wash removes all the inborn oil from your skin and messes up its natural condition. Result: In the beginning your skin will start feeling really dry and uncomfortable. After a couple of weeks, you’ll see more and more pimples rising up as a physical reaction to all the dryness caused by the product.

2. Konjac Puff Sponge
A soft cupcake-looking sponge that you can use without extra soup. Perfect for men and women who have a really really sensitive skin or are troubled by allergies. It feels so gentle and nourishing! For me personally, the Konjac Sponge is a bit too gentle to really eliminate all make-up.
3. The machinery: Visapure & Clarisonic
The one tries to outdo the other, but actually I like both of them. You just add a little bit (!!) of your favourite cleanser and a sprinkle of water, and there you go! The Visapure is a little bit more agressive (because of the circular motion), which makes your product foam like crazy! Picky eye-alert!!! The Clarisonic claims to be softer for your skin, because of its vertical movement. But really, I’m a fan of both!
4. Annayake Make-up Remover Sponge
Eva, a friend of mine, tested this cute sponge. Thanks for helping me out, my love!
The tissue of the Make-up Remover Sponge feels a bit like wash leather, and it goes according to the same principles: The texture is quite hard, but once it comes in contact with water, it becomes soft and flexible, so you can wipe all traces of make-up and cleansing product.
Still it feels a bit like mopping your windows…
5. Babor 2-Phase Cleansing
This cleansing duo consists of HY-ÖL, a natural and pure oil, and the Phytoactive Base, a soupy fluid.
It seems a bit strange to use an oil to cleanse your skin, but actually it really works! The HY-ÖL absorbs all in-oil-decomposable filth, and keeps the skin moisturized. Afterwards you apply the Phytoactive Base with a little bit of water. This milky substance will sip up the in-water-decomposable parts.
Result: A soft and clean skin, without draughty effect! Love it!
Lots of clean kisses,
