No beauty crisis

2 Feb

The word ‘crisis’ is the new black, it seems.

Every step you take, every move you make, the economical crises tries to beat you down.

Now, don’t let this be an excuse to neglect your personal beauty!

Actually, this is the perfect opportunity to broaden your vision, and revalue  oldskool beauty-tips. Or test those less expensive brands.

My crisis tips:

1. Rose water is my all time favourite product! And it’s so cheap as well!

In fact, my models prefer it too. Their skin suffers so much from all the make-up, that the feeling and smell of roses calmes them down immediately.

You can use it as a lotion, as refreshing mist during a hot day, even against morning-after swelling.

Buy it when you’re on holiday in Turkey or Morocco, or just in your local Carrefour or Kruidvat. You’ll love it!

2. Save money on your mascara! Ok, those mascaras from Guerlain or Chanel look fab, but to be honest: There are at least a couple of inexpensive brands that do the job just as good!

for example Colossal Volum’ Express or Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline, and  False Lash Effect Mascara by Max Factor (= my fav at the moment).

3. Enjoy reductions! I’m, for instance, very much in love with my Kiehl’s products! And although they are not the most expensive creams to buy, it would be cool to get them at a lower price.

Welllll, now you can! Kiehl’s is permanently reducing their prices in Europe, up to 14%! All because of their huge success!

Hooray for that!

Great post – for an inexpensive mascara I like to use Cover Girls “Professional”. Does the trick every time!
